Perahu drone ini berhasil meledakkan kapal target yakni pengangkut kargo Tutor.
Kelompok Yaman mengklaim bahwa kapal USV atau drone kecil lincah ini adalah produksi Houthi sendiri.
Toofan-1 dirancang untuk menyerang target laut yang diam dan bergerak di dekatnya.
Meskipun tergolong kecil dan ramping, kapal drone ini bisa membawa hulu ledak seberat 150 kilogram.
Toofan-1 bisa bergerak dengan kecepatan tinggi melalui air.
Efek serangan dari Toofan juga membuat seluruh kapal koyak, meskipun ukurannya raksasa layaknya Kapal Kargo Tutor.
Perahu drone kecil ini memiliki bentuk lambung V yang bisa memotong gelombang.
Mirip dengan perahu drone yang telah dipakai oleh Ukraina di Laut Hitam. (Tribun-Video.com)
