SEMARANG, KOMPAS.TV - Wali Kota Semarang Agustina Wilujeng Pramestuti mengapresiasi kegiatan Youth Forum, yang diadakan Stasiun Siaran Luar Negeri atau SLN RRI.Forum yang menggugah kepedulian generasi muda terhadap lingkungan ini, dikemas dalam diskusi menggunakan bahasa Inggris.
Menurut Agustina dalam penanganan isu lingkungan, Pemkot Semarang membutuhkan dukungan dari berbagai pihak termasuk peran aktif masyarakat.
Kegiatan Youth Forum ini dinilai sejalan dengan program Pemkot Semarang untuk memperbanyak ruang terbuka hijau di Kota Semarang.
Kegiatan Youth Forum dengan tema "Disaster Mitigation: Traileblaze the Green Shift", menghadirkan mahasiswa dari berbagai universitas di Kota Semarang.
Tujuannya, untuk meningkatkan kepedulian anak muda Kota Semarang terkait isu lingkungan dan diharapkan dapat diaplikasikan oleh masyarakat luas.
