(LaPresse) - Proseguono senza sosta le operazioni dei vigili del fuoco per contenere la massa liquida che dal pomeriggio di ieri si è sversata per circa 28 km sulle acque del Naviglio Pavese fino a raggiungere le porte di Milano. Nel pomeriggio di ieri, nel corso dei lavori programmati di manutenzione della fognatura a Magenta, nelle acque del Naviglio Grande, è stata rilevata una macchia di presunto gasolio nel Naviglio.Le squadre del Comando di via Messina, in stretto coordinamento con la Protezione civile, utilizzando sette barriere di contenimento sono riuscite almeno in parte a frenare la corsa di questa sostanza che sembrerebbe ricca di idrocarburi. Una parte di essa seppur minima ha raggiunto anche la Darsena. L'azione di prosciugamento della sostanza proseguirà per tutto il giorno convergendo su un punto di raccordo in via Conchetto a Milano, dove è presente una chiusa che permetterebbe proprio ai soccorritori di bloccare e prosciugare quanto più possibile la sostanza.
