Ia ditangkap di Padang, Sumatera Barat bersama istrinya.
Kapolda Sumsel Irjen Pol Haryo Sugihartono pada Sabtu (29/6/2024) mengatakan Antoni dalam perjalanan menuju Palembang.
Namun pukul 18.20 WIB Antoni telah tiba bersama jajaran polisi di Bandara Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, Palembang.
Antoni diamanakan oleh petugas gabungan Satreskrim Polrestabes Palembang dan Polda Sumsel.
Petugas turut mengamankan barang bukti pakaian pelaku, saat melakukan aksi pembunuhan tersebut.
Kasatreskrim Polrestabes Palembang, AKBP Haris Dinzah mengatakan pelaku ditangkap setelah polisi melakukan penyelidikan atas kasus pembunuhan petugas koperasi yang mayatnya dicor di belakang distro tersebut.
Diketahui pembunuhan pegawai koperasi di Palembang, Anton Eka Saputra melibatkan pemilik distro 'Anti Mahal'.
Korban ditemukan terkubur di halaman belakang distro, kawasan Maskarebet, Kelurahan Talang Kelapa, Kecamatan Sukarami, Palembang, Rabu (26/6/2024).
Sebelumnya, korban sempat dilaporkan keluarganya menghilang pada Sabtu (8/6/2024) lalu ke polisi.
Korban dibunuh saat hendak menagih utang ke pemilik ruko yang kabur.(*)
