Alex Otaola, conductor de "Hola! Ota-Ola", dedicó un segmento de su programa a responder a un hombre oriundo de Nuevitas, Camagüey, identificado en redes sociales como usuario que difunde mensajes a favor del gobierno cubano. En el video, Otaola sostiene que este hombre reside y trabaja de forma intermitente entre Cuba y Estados Unidos mientras respalda públicamente a las autoridades de la isla.El presentador aprovechó el espacio para hablar sobre el escrutinio migratorio que enfrentan en Estados Unidos las personas señaladas por sostener vínculos con el gobierno cubano, un tema que preocupa a buena parte de la comunidad cubana radicada fuera de la isla. Según lo expuesto en el programa, algunas publicaciones del hombre señalado habrían sido borradas recientemente de sus redes.
