CERNOBBIO (ITALPRESS) - "Il mondo ha bisogno dell'Europa per ricostruire la centralità del diritto internazionale che è stata strappata. Per rilanciare la prospettiva di un multilateralismo cooperativo. Per regole che riconducano al bene comune lo straripante peso delle corporazioni globali - quasi nuove Compagnie delle Indie - che si arrogano l'assunzione di poteri che si pretende che Stati e Organizzazioni internazionali non abbiano a esercitare. L'incrocio tra le ambizioni di quelle, e l'impulso di dominio, di impronta neo-imperialista, che si manifesta da parte dei governi di alcuni Paesi, rischia di essere letale per il futuro dell'umanità". Così il Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella nel videomessaggio inviato per la seconda giornata del Forum TEHA a Cernobbio, sottolineando che "l'Europa è, al tempo stesso, necessità e responsabilità". "Le forze imprenditoriali e quelle sociali, il mondo della cultura e la società civile europea devono avvertire la necessità e la responsabilità di sentirsi partecipi e costruttori, non spettatori inermi e intimoriti", ha aggiunto il Capo dello Stato ribadendo che "le democrazie dell'Europa sono capaci di trovare in sè motivazioni e iniziative per non soccombere alla favola di una superiorità dei regimi autocratici, per non cedere all'idea di un mondo lacerato, composto soltanto di avversari, nemici, vassalli o clientes, né all'idea di società frammentate".xh7/col4/mca1
