Ein Jahr nach Amtsantritt von Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz (CDU) und seiner Bundesregierung richtet sich der Blick der Märkte auf Deutschland. Wie schätzen internationale Investoren die Lage ein? „Der Aktienmarkt wird sehr positiv gesehen, weil Unternehmen weltweit tätig sind und nicht auf den deutschen Standort angewiesen sind. Viele große Konzerne fahren hier runter und bauen woanders auf", so Robert Halver. Der Kapitalmarktexperte von der Baader Bank weiter: „Und bezogen auf die Reformbewegungen. Was soll man sagen? Welche Note soll man geben? Eine sechs, weil es keine sieben gibt? Die Reformen müssen kommen, weil alle anderen Länder die Reformen machen und damit wettbewerbsfähiger sind als wir. Wenn knapp 10.000 Arbeitsplätze jeden Monat abgebaut werden - und zwar Facharbeiter -, müssen wir da ran. Der Staatshaushalt, diese fette Henne, die muss geschlachtet werden. Jedes Jahr Rekordeinnahmen und dann immer mehr auszugeben. Schulden als Sondervermögen zu machen und die nicht zielgerichtet zu investieren. Die Bürokratie... das funktioniert einfach nicht!"
