Para el psicoanalista y escritor Gabriel Rolón, ahí está lo maravilloso. ¿Cuál es ese sentido? No lo sabe: hay tantos como seres humanos, y cada uno debe buscar el suyo.
El psicoanálisis no está para dictar qué es sano y qué es enfermo, explica Rolón, sino para que alguien no cumpla su destino. Todos estamos recorridos por voces del pasado, ideales de otros volcados sobre nosotros: son los mandatos. Algunos nos empujan a jugarnos por el deseo; otros repiten que no vamos a poder. Cuando ese mandato que hace daño no se puede desobedecer, aparece el trabajo del analista.
La felicidad es un desafío: no venimos al mundo a ser felices, sino a luchar para merecerla, a puro coraje y a pura verdad. Nadie muere de dolor, con dolor se vive, porque el dolor es la señal de que le estamos dando batalla a la vida. Los griegos decían agón, de donde viene agonía, y no significaba muerte, sino lucha.
