La dictadura de Batista le había cerrado las puertas, pero ella, ante los estudiantes, les prometió que su arte no moriría. Tiempo después, la Revolución la llamó. Y ella regresó. Cumplió.Y qué suerte tenemos hoy de recibir a grandes figuras de la danza cubana. Porque aquí la danza es viva, es diversa, es pueblo.
🩰 Leyván del Río, director del Conjunto Folklórico Nacional, habla de sus talleres comunitarios y los preparativos para el aniversario de la agrupación.
🩰 Viengsay Valdés y Miguel Cabrera, directora general e historiador del Ballet Nacional de Cuba, conversaron sobre la importancia de esta institución en el mundo y en Cuba y sobre sus fundadores. Además nos adelantan las fechas de “La Magia de la Danza”: 8, 9 y 10 de mayo en la sala Avellaneda del Teatro Nacional, a las 5:00 pm.
🩰 Caruca, del Ballet de la Televisión Cubana, nos habló del importante papel de este colectivo que ha llevado la danza a cada hogar a través de la pantalla chica.
Y tuvimos un momento muy especial: conocimos apenas minutos antes de salir la noticia que Liliam Padrón Chávez había recibido el Premio Nacional de Danza 2026 . Y quién mejor para dedicarle unas palabras en vivo que Viengsay Valdés, Premio Nacional de Danza 2025, que con su voz y su autoridad le envió un hermoso mensaje a la flamante ganadora. Un instante de emoción compartida.
