Il Comune ha assegnato l'Ambrogino d'oro al Nucleo radiomobile dei carabinieri di Milano: nel video il momento della premiazione e la lettura delle motivazioni, incluso «il grande lavoro a favore dei cittadini». Ci sono state alcune contestazioni perché è la sezione a cui appartengono i militari indagati nell'ambito della morte di Ramy Elgaml. È stato il sindaco Beppe Sala a mettere un punto, dividendo il fatto specifico di cronaca che coinvolge solo alcuni militari dal riconoscimento all'istituzione: «Ramy merita giustizia e la sua famiglia è esemplare». Per quanto riguarda le polemiche per la benemerenza, «lo capisco, però il Radiomobile è un Corpo che ha una storia importante.
