THAILAND: Zweites Unglück – Wieder stürzt ein Baukran ab. Wieder gab es Tote.
Ein zweiter Kran ist in Thailand eingestürzt und hat zwei Autofahrer getötet, nur einen Tag nach einem ähnlichen Unfall, bei dem Dutzende Zugpassagiere ums Leben kamen.Ein Video, aufgenommen aus einem Fahrzeug unterhalb der Brücke, zeigt den Einsturz.
Dieses Mal krachte der Kran in Samut Sakhon, südwestlich von Bangkok, auf eine sich im Bau befindende Autobahnbrücke, die daraufhin auf eine weitere Schnellstraße stürzte. Zwei Menschen starben, fünf weitere wurden verletzt. Die Trümmerteile trafen mehrere Autos, wie die „Bangkok Post“ berichtet.
Warum dieser Baukran umstürzte, ist bislang unklar. Die Unglücksserie versetzt ganz Thailand in Alarmbereitschaft. Ermittler untersuchen nun beide Fälle.
