Selain itu, lima tentara lainnya juga terluka parah akibat diserang Hamas.
The Times of Israel melaporkan, dua perwira yang tewas adalah Kapten Elay Elisha Lugasi (21) dan Kapten Roy Miller (21).
Masing-masing bertugas sebagai komandan di Batalyon ke-75 Brigade Lapis Baja ke-7 dan Batalyon Rotem Brigade Givati.
Kapten Lugasi tewas dalam pertempuran melawan Hamas di Shejaiya, Gaza utara.
Di lokasi tersebut, tiga tentara lainnya dari Batalyon yang sama juga terluka parah.
Sementara Kapten Miller tewas di lokasi lain, bersama seorang perwira dan seorang prajurit yang juga terluka.
Militer Israel (IDF) mengklaim, kematian dua perwira itu menambah daftar jumlah tentara yang tewas menjadi 324.
Angka tersebut dihitung sejak serangan darat dimulai di Jalur Gaza pada Oktober 2023.
Namun data yang dilaporkan Israel dianggap palsu oleh kelompok Hamas maupun Hizbullah.
Keduanya menuding Israel mereyasa jumlah kematian pasukan untuk menutupi kekalahan perang.
