MINAHASA, KOMPAS.TV - Ratusan rumah di sekitar Danau Tondano masih tergenang air luapan danau tersebut. Ketinggian air bervariasi antara 30 hingga 50 sentimeter.Banjir telah merendam rumah warga di sekitar Danau Tondano selama sebulan terakhir.
Warga Kelurahan Kiniar, Tondano Timur, Kabupaten Minahasa mengaku banjir kali ini merupakan yang terparah yang pernah mereka alami.
Genangan air yang masih tinggi menyebabkan warga sulit beraktivitas. Sementara itu, meski sudah disediakan lokasi pengungsian, sejumlah warga memilih bertahan di rumah.
