Governo italiano accelera su iniziativa 'Italy For Sudan', nuovi aiuti a Pasqua
(Agenzia Vista) Il Governo italiano ha lanciato a fine 2025 l’iniziativa “Italy for Sudan”. Il progetto, nato su impulso del Ministro Tajani, rappresenta un ulteriore passaggio nell’impegno umanitario dell’Italia a sostegno della popolazione sudanese, grazie ad un approccio integrato che vede il coinvolgimento del Sistema Paese, delle principali Organizzazioni umanitarie e della società civile. Un primo carico aereo di aiuti umanitari era partito lo scorso 25 dicembre e destinato a 2.500 studenti di scuole frequentate da figli di famiglie sfollate e gestite dalla Parrocchia di Port Sudan. Nel corso dello scorso weekend di Pasqua è stata distribuita una seconda tranche di aiuti con ulteriori beni alimentari di prima necessità. Il completamento dell’operazione è previsto entro la fine del mese di aprile, con altre forniture di beni essenziali (tra cui tende familiari, teloni impermeabili, zanzariere, materassi, taniche e serbatoi per acqua, set da cucina e kit igienici) per un totale complessivo di circa 107 tonnellate di aiuti, destinati a 4.245 famiglie sfollate presenti in 31 campi nello Stato del Mar Rosso.Fonte: Agenzia Vista / Alexander Jakhnagiev Receive SMS online on sms24.me
