We are learning about a breaking story out of California this Tuesday. According to early reports, an active hostage situation is underway in downtown Bakersfield with a man who allegedly has a bomb strapped to his body. This information is coming from local authorities who also confirmed that officers were called to a Chase Bank in the Bakersfield area around 1 p.m. Tuesday regarding a bomb threat.
