Freddy menegaskan bahwa personel BAIS TNI itu harusnya sedang melaksanakan tugas intelijen.
Dalam konferensi pers pada Jumat (5/9/2025), Freddy menuturkan bahwa saat kejadian, Mayor SS melaksanakan tugas intelijen.
Namun ikut tergiring massa yang dipukul mundur oleh pasukan Brimob di Pejompongan.
Mayor SS saat itu duduk di atas motor, kemudian rombongan Brimob datang dan menarik Mayor SS serta membawanya ke mobil kendaraan taktis.
Saat itu anggota Brimob memaksa personel BAIS TNI menunjukkan identitasnya dengan nada suara keras.
Sehingga mau tak mau, personel BAIS TNI itu menunjukkan identitasnya.
Anggota Brimob yang tertua kemudian memerintahkan anak buahnya untuk mengambil foto bersama Mayor SS beserta foto dokumennya.
Sampai akhirnya, personel BAIS TNI tersebut dilepas dari pegangan anggota Brimob dan saling berjabat tangan.
Saat aksi demontrasi, Mayor SS memang sedang ditugaskan untuk memantau situasi.
Freddy menegaskan bahwa personel BAIS itu berada di lokasi sekiranya ada situasi yang berpotensi mengancam. (Tribun-Video.com)
