BOEING 747 CLASSIC LANDING & DEPARTURE - B747-200 with EPIC SOUND + 60 Minutes Classic Aviaiton (4K)
A Boeing 747-200 Classic in 2024 is an amazing sight. This 37 year old classic B747 suddenly showed up in the flight schedule for Liege Airport last week and of course I went to the airport to film this rare bird. The Jumbo was operating a flight for Silk Way and the routing was Baku - Liege - Baku. The aircraft was built in 1987 and the first operator was All Nippon Airways as a passengar aircraft. In 2000 the japanese cargo airline Nippon Cargo Epxress which is still active by the way in 2024, bought the plane and converted it into a cargo aircraft. In 2008 Nippon Cargo replaced their classic Jumbos with more efficient B747-400`s and this B747-200 switched the operator. After flying for various operators in the middlea east for several years it now operates for the moldavian airline "Fly Pro Slr" which currently operates three B747-200 Freighters. Recently they added a third aircraft to their fleet by adding the former B747-200 of the uzbek airline Myfreighter.Besides Geo Sky, FlyPro is the only operator of the B747 classic in Europe. I filmed the aircraft 10 days ago and in the meantime the aircraft visited Liege two more times. Would be quite amazing to see this wonderful fuel to noise converter more often in the future. The livery is based on CargoB Airlines which used to be a belgian cargo operator. The airline ceased operatios and one of their aircraft kept the livery of the previous operator. Somehow FlyPro adapted the livery aswell on their second aircraft and I have to say that I like it. Felt quite nostalgic to see a Cargo B B747-200 in the belgian skies again.
