Gerald Vanenburg Tempa Para Pemain Timnas U-23 Jelang Tampil di Piala AFF

Dalam latihan hari kedua ini diikuti 28 pemain dari 30 pemain yang sebelumnya dipanggil Gerald.
Usai menjalani latihan, pelatih asal Belanda tersebut menilai para pemain yang menjalani TC mempunyai kualitas baik.
Gerald menegaskan bahwa dirinya sangat serius dalam mempersiapkan para pemainnya jelang tampil pada Piala AFF U-23 2025.
Untuk itu, dalam pemusatan latihan yang bergulir 20 Juni – 14 Juli, dirinya fokus menempa fisik dan teknik Muhammad Ferarri dkk.
Pantauan Tribunnews, dalam latihan yang dimulai pukul 16.00 WIB, Gerald Vanenburg langsung menggeber para pemain dengan latihan fisik.
Para pemain tampak berlari beberapa kali dari satu gawang ke gawang lainnya. Setelah itu, beberapa program latihan fisik juga diterapkan.
Sementara itu, manajer timnas Indonesia U-23 Ahmed Zaki Iskandar membeberkan target yang diberikan PSSI kepada Timnas Indonesia U-23 haruslah bisa keluar sebagai juara Piala AFF u23 2025.
Capain itu menurutnya juga sangat baik jelang Garuda Muda melanjutkan turnamen di Kualifikasi Piala Asia U-23 yang bergulir di Indonesia pada September mendatang.
