(LaPresse) Il ministro della Giustizia, Carlo Nordio, ha parlato con i cronisti al termine del dibattito ad Atreju sulla riforma della giustizia. «C'è un 15% di detenuti non sottoposti a condanna definitiva, molti vengono prosciolti, quindi la detenzione risulta ingiustificata. Trovo più ragionevole evitare si entri in prigione prima del processo, quando si è presunti innocenti, più che liberarli, sia pure per indulgenza, dopo la condanna quando si è colpevoli conclamati». Il Guardasigilli ha proseguito: «Stiamo lavorando per una ridefinizione della situazione carceraria e dei criteri di carcerazione in tre direzioni: la più importante in questo momento è la detenzione differenziata di tossicodipendenti che più che essere delinquenti da punire sono malati da curare.
