This Forgotten Playstyle Is Surprisingly Powerful in Battlefield 6
Bipod gameplay was a dominant part of Battlefield 3, 4, but especially V. It's a playstyle you don't see nearly as often in Battlefield 6. After spending some time revisiting mounted machine gun gameplay, I think we're seriously overlooking just how effective it can be.In this video, we're taking a deep dive into the L110 machine gun and building around a dedicated Fire Support role. We'll look at the massive improvements to recoil, weapon control, and dispersion when using a bipod, compare the different bipod attachments, and explore how to use deployable cover to lock down positions and control sightlines.
I'll also break down the L110's damage profile, Hollow Point ammunition, and my favorite builds for both mounted and traditional gameplay.
There are some serious advantages to this playstyle, but also some important trade-offs. Let's see just how effective mounted gameplay can be in Battlefield 6.
