La FIA vieta l'aerodinamica attiva e a Monaco cambia tutto

La FIA ha ufficialmente vietato l'aerodinamica attiva al GP di Monaco per ragioni di sicurezza: niente ali mobili, niente straight line mode e nemmeno il DRS, perché il circuito urbano rigenera troppa energia e crea il rischio di velocità eccessive all'uscita del Tunnel. Arriva la modalità 'Rev 1' che riduce la potenza dell'MGU-K già a 200 km/h contro i 290 della modalità Base, interrompendosi a 300, 310 in sorpasso. Il downforce torna protagonista e questo scenario favorisce la Ferrari, considerata la migliore in telaio e aerodinamica nelle curve medie e lente. Intanto Antonelli vince il quarto GP consecutivo a Montreal, primo nella storia a riuscirci, e porta il vantaggio a 43 punti dopo il ritiro di Russell per un guasto terminale alla batteria. Hamilton conquista il suo miglior risultato in Ferrari con il secondo posto e punta su Monaco, mentre Leclerc chiude quarto in difficoltà col setup rear-limited e le temperature rigide. La Ferrari riuscirà a trasformare Monaco nella prima vittoria stagionale?
