LUMAJANG, KOMPAS.TV - Seorang nenek tinggal sebatang kara di kandang sapi. Tak tega melihat penderitaan sang nenek, warga sekitar lalu patungan untuk merenovasi rumahnya.Arsina, nenek renta itu, tinggal di tempat yang nyaris tak bisa disebut rumah. Dinding rapuh dan atap hampir ambruk.
Setiap malam ia terpaksa tidur di kandang sapi, bukan karena pilihan, melainkan karena tak ada tempat lain untuk bernaung.
Untuk makan sehari-hari, nenek Arsina bergantung pada belas kasihan tetangga.
Kondisi inilah yang membuat Serma Masruri, anggota Koramil Gucialit, Lumajang, tergerak membantu.
Selain kerap memberikan sembako, Serma Masruri juga menggalang dana dari rekan TNI dan warga untuk merenovasi rumah nenek Arsina.
Pihak desa setempat mengaku sudah memberi bantuan, baik dari program pemerintah maupun secara pribadi. Namun bantuan renovasi rumah belum terealisasi.
Diharapkan proses perbaikan rumah nenek Arsina bisa segera selesai agar ia tidak lagi tidur di kandang sapi.
