Dalam keterangan pada Rabu (30/7/2025), Reza menilai bahwa polisi sengaja "menyicil" pengungkapan bukti kematian ADP.
Hal itu lantaran kasus sudah kadung viral, dan opini publik sudah berujung liar atas penyebab kematian ADP.
Namun menurutnya polisi salah langkah dan salah momen dalam pengungkapan kasus ini ke masyarakat.
Menurut Reza, seharusnya polisi lebih memikirkan bagaimana cara menyampaikan hasil penyelidikan ke publik dibanding menjelaskan outputnya secara komprehensif ke publik.
Yang mana hal itu membuat citra instansi menjadi buruk di hadapan masyarakat.
Selain itu, Reza juga turut menyoroti "blunder polisi" dalam pengungkapan bukti kematian Diplomat muda Kemlu tersebut.
Di mana ada momen saat pihak kepolisian justru menampilkan barang pribadi ADP sebagai bukti.
Padahal dari tim kepolisian sendiri sudah mengonfirmasi bahwa penyebab kematian ADP bukan karena tindak pidana, yang mana seharusnya peristiwa ADP seketika menjadi isu privat.
Menurut Reza, pihak kepolisian harusnya memberikan informasi mengenai barang pribadi korban cukup ke pihak keluarga saja, bukan ke publik.
Pasalnya dengan mempertontokan barang pribadi korban ke publik membuat sisi pribadi almarhum menjadi terekspos ke publik.
Menurutnya polisi cukup mengingatkan khalayak agar lebih membatasi diri untuk menyoroti kehidupan almarhum.
