Dalam survei itu terdapat penurunan prevalensi stunting nasional, dari 21,5 persen pada tahun 2023 menjadi 19,8 persen pada tahun 2024.
Ia mengatakan, perlu kerja keras bersama mengejar target pemerintah dalam menurunkan stunting nasional menjadi 14,2 persen pada tahun 2029.
Seperti melalui program makan bergizi gratis (MBG) hingga Gerakan Orang Tua Asuh Cegah Stunting (Genting).
Menurut Wihaji, program MBG menjadi salah satu faktor penentu angka stunting turun.
Hal ini dilandasi adanya upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi dan perubahan perilaku dalam mengkonsumsi makanan.
Kemudia ada Gerakan Orang tua asuh atau GENTING yang memberikan pemahaman bahwa stunting menjadi tanggung jawab bersama untuk diselesaikan bersama-sama.
Dengan demikian, data SSGI ini sangat strategis dan bermanfaat untuk digunakan dalam kebijakan dan strategi penurunan stunting di Indonesia ke depan.
