Saying Goodbye to Crash Course After 15 Years!
We’re the original animation team behind the hugely popular YouTube series known as Crash Course. We branded, illustrated and animated the series from its early inception in 2011 all the way to 2025. That’s nearly 15 years of production! Our longest running project yet, covering over 60 subjects in sciences, humanities, and more, with up to 40+ episodes each. Apart from animating episodes, we created tons of beautiful, educational merchandise, from posters to mugs, and Subbable and Patreon rewards for the show’s avid supporters over the years.Crash Course is invaluable to students, teachers and self-learners everywhere, and connected us to an amazing community of fans we cherish to this day. This is our love letter to a show we cared so much about, poured our heart, passion, and talent into, and it’s a final goodbye as it continues its journey without us.
We want to give a special thanks to everyone who put hard work into this series. All of our bright and talented artists, animators, technical directors, sound designers, producers, as well as the hardworking teams at Complexly who conceived of, wrote, produced, filmed, edited each episode, and let us do our thing.
