Hormuz Strait Crisis: होर्मुज खुलवाने के लिए UN सुरक्षा परिषद में प्रस्ताव | UN Security Councilहोर्मुस संकट के बीच में अब UN सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल की एंट्री हो गई है।
बहरीन ने सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल में एक प्रस्ताव रखा है जिसमें कहा गया है होर्मुज स्ट्रेट को खोलेने को जहाजों की सुरक्षा के लिए सभी डिफेंसिव उपाय किये जाएं...इसमें ये भी साफ लिखा है कि उपाय आक्रामक नहीं होने चाहिए...भारतीय समय के मुताबिक आज शाम साढ़े आठ बजे UN सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल में इस प्रस्ताव पर वोटिंग होगी...इससे पहले देशों को सभी आवश्यक साधनों का इस्तेमाल करने की इजाज़त दी गई थी...जिसमें संभावित सैन्य कार्रवाई भी शामिल थी..इस मसौदे में देशों को कम से कम छह महीने के लिए होर्मुज स्ट्रेट और आसपास के इलाकों में परिस्थितियों के हिसाब से सभी रक्षात्मक उपायों का उपयोग करने की अनुमति दी गई है। अगर इस प्रस्ताव पर सहमति बन जाती है तो ईरान पर होर्मूज को खोलने का दबाव बढ़ जाएगा...इस बीच लीग ऑफ अरब ने ईरानी हमलों की निंदा की है और संयुक्त राष्ट्र से हमलों को रोकने के लिए हस्तक्षेप करने का आग्रह किया। अरब लीग के महासचिव अहमद अबुल घीत ने ईरान द्वारा अरब देशों के खिलाफ किए जा रहे मिसाइल और ड्रोन हमलों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय कानून का उल्लंघन करार देते हुए इसकी निंदा की है।
Amidst the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, the UN Security Council has now stepped in.
Bahrain has tabled a resolution in the Security Council proposing that all necessary defensive measures be undertaken to ensure the safety of vessels and to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. The text also explicitly states that these measures must not be offensive in nature. According to Indian Standard Time, a vote on this resolution is scheduled to take place in the UN Security Council at 8:30 PM this evening. Previously, nations had been authorized to employ all necessary means—including potential military action—to address the situation. This draft resolution permits nations to utilize all appropriate defensive measures within the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding areas, as dictated by prevailing circumstances, for a period of at least six months. If this resolution is adopted, it will intensify the pressure on Iran to ensure the Strait of Hormuz remains open. Meanwhile, the Arab League has condemned the Iranian attacks and urged the United Nations to intervene to halt the hostilities. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, has denounced the missile and drone attacks being carried out by Iran against Arab nations, characterizing them as a violation of international law.
