Mahfud MD Diundang Komite Reformasi Polri? Ini Kata Usman Hamid

JAKARTA, KOMPASTV Nama Mahfud MD masuk dalam bursa tokoh yang akan diundang bergabung di Komite Reformasi Polri yang dicanangkan Presiden Prabowo.

Direktur Eksekutif Amnesty International Indonesia Usman Hamid, menyambut baik kehadiran komite itu.

Terkait adanya nama Mahfud, ia meminta publik tinggal menunggu saja.

"Rencana pemerintah membentuk komisi Polri yang melibatkan unsur masyarakat seperti Prof Mahfud MD akan memberi jawaban? Kita tunggu saja apakah melakukan itu juga mencakup usaha untuk melakukan pencarian fakta atas tragedi Agustus," kata Usman, Minggu (21/9/2025).

Sebelumnya Pakar Hukum Tata Negara yang juga Mantan Menko Polhukam menilai polisi di Indonesia itu baik.

Hal ini disampaikan Mahfud saat menjadi pemateri dalam dialog di Divisi Humas Polri pada Sabtu (13/9/2025).

"Polri itu baik, masyarakat merasa aman dan nyaman di kehidupan sehari-hari. Jangan dipungkiri. Ini keamanan dan ketentraman di 75.265 desa di Indonesia," ujar Mahfud MD.
