Ketua KPK Ungkap Alasan Baru Tahan Sekjen PDIP Hasto Terkait Kasus Suap dan Perintangan Penyidikan

Ia ditahan di Cabang Rumah Tahanan Negara Jakarta Timur.
Penahanan ini berlaku selama 20 hari, mulai 20 Februari hingga 11 Maret 2025.
Hal itu diungkapkan langsung oleh Ketua KPK, Setyo Budiyanto, dalam konferensi pers.
Lebih lanjut, Setyo pun mengungkapkan alasan KPK memutuskan untuk menahan Hasto.
Sekjen PDIP itu ditahan lantaran alasan subjektif dari penyidik.
Selain itu, penyidik khawatir jika Hasto melarikan diri atau menghilangkan barang bukti.
Penahanan ini diharapkan mempermudah proses penyidikan.
Saat dihadirkan dalam konferensi pers, Hasto tampak mengenakan rompi tahanan oranye.
Kedua tangannya juga tampak diborgol dan digiring oleh petugas KPK.
Sebagai informasi, Hasto terjerat sebagai tersangka dalam kasus dugaan suap dan perintangan penyidikan.
Sekjen PDIP itu sudah beberapa kali diperiksa dan menggugat praperadilan yang ditolak majelis hakim.
