Dünyanın manyetik alanının yön değiştirdiği ve bunun bir felaketle sonuçlanacağı haberleri geçen yıl oldukça popülerdi. Kıyamet senaryolarını çok seven medya da bu konuyu kapsamının dışına çıkararak bilimsel bir dayanağı olmayan haberler yapmaktan da çekinmemişti elbette. Tabi bunu söylerken “manyetik alanımızdaki” değişimlerin de çok masum olmadığını da belirtmek gerekiyor.Fakat bunun yakın zamanda olmayacağını söyleyebiliriz. Ancak bu senaryoyu da bir açıklığa kavuşturmamız lazım. Öncelikle dünyamızın manyetik alanı derken neden bahsediyoruz ve bunun, yani haberlerde güney ve kuzey kutuplar yer değiştirecek şeklinde aktarılan olgunun gerçekliği nedir? Bu gerçekleşirse bir felaket mi bizi bekliyor?
