Keluarga Pegi Kumpulkan Bukti, 65 Pengacara Sukarela Ingin Bela Pegi
BANDUNG, KOMPAS.TV - Ayah Pegi Setiawan dan tim kuasa hukum mendatangi lokasi rumah yang pada tahun 2016 lalu menjadi tempat pegi dan sang ayah bekerja di Kampung Rancakasiat, Kecamatan Papeungpeuk, Kabupaten Bandung.Kamis (30/05) siang, kuasa hukum keluarga dan ayah dari Pegi Setiawan menunjukkan lokasi rumah yang jadi tempat bekerja Pegi dan ayahnya saat peristiwa pembunuhan Vina terjadi.
Namun dari rumah tersebut, tidak ada satu pun orang yang keluar. Pemilik rumah juga sulit dihubungi.
Langkah ini merupakan bagian dari pengumpulan bukti dan saksi yang menunjukkan bahwa Pegi Setiawan, tidak berada di Cirebon saat malam terbunuhnya Vina dan Eky.
Tim Kuasa Hukum Pegi Setiawan, tersangka kasus pembunuhan Vina Cirebon, mengajukan penangguhan penahanan ke Polda Jawa Barat.
Perwakilan tim kuasa hukum Pegi Setiawan, mendatangi Polda Jabar pada Kamis (30/05) kemarin.
Kedatangan mereka dilakukan untuk mengajukan penangguhan penahanan Pegi serta meminta salinan berta acara pemeriksaan.
Kuasa hukum mengatakan, kedua permintaan tersebut kini dalam proses kepolisian.
Sementara di kediaman orang tua Pegi, sebanyak 65 pengacara dari sejumlah organisasi advokat di sejumlah daerah menyampaikan kesediaanya untuk membela Pegi Setiawan.
Para pengacara ini ingin membantu secara sukarela.
