The MT Jalveer, carrying around 20 to 24 Indian crew members, is said to be on fire after being struck, with Indian authorities coordinating rescue efforts with Oman. The incident follows two earlier attacks on vessels involving Indian nationals, including the deadly strike on MT Settebello, where three Indian seafarers were killed. The developments come as the US and Iran continue exchanging strikes, with Washington carrying out missile attacks on Iranian military infrastructure and Tehran claiming retaliatory action.
