Tracción animal en aeropuertos para mover cargas a Cuba: Otaola exige cerrar y retirar licencias
El influencer y activista cubanoamericano Alex Otaola reaccionó a nuevas imágenes de envíos y “mulas” trasladando paquetes hacia Cuba, y pidió medidas más drásticas contra las agencias que continúan operando. El presidente de la Fundación Cubana Anticomunista sostiene que mientras exista flujo constante de mercancías y vuelos, el régimen seguirá encontrando oxígeno económico.Otaola dirigió su llamado al congresista Carlos A. Giménez, insistiendo en que se revisen y, de ser necesario, se retiren licencias a compañías que comercian con la isla bajo distintos esquemas. Para el activista, si Cuba está considerada una amenaza para la seguridad nacional, no debería existir un canal abierto que permita operaciones regulares.
El influencer también mencionó testimonios de personas en filas de agencias de envío que, aun enviando ayuda familiar, reconocen que un endurecimiento podría acelerar cambios políticos en la isla. El debate gira en torno a la tensión entre la ayuda directa a familiares y la presión estructural al sistema gobernante.
Otaola argumenta que el Partido Comunista debe asumir la responsabilidad de sostener a su población sin depender del exilio. Según el presidente de la Fundación Cubana Anticomunista, la estrategia es clara: cortar los mecanismos que prolongan el modelo actual y forzar un punto de quiebre.
