This is the sixth short film in my "Dinosauria Animated Series".
While all of the other films in my "Dinosauria Series" are almost faux documentary-style stories about accurately reconstructed dinosaurs living like real animals, this first film of Vol. 2 is a lot more experimental.
I started work on this film in 2024, which marked the 200 year anniversary of the naming of our first dinosaur. This inspired me to create a celebratory film covering the past 200 years of our ever evolving understanding of these mysterious and fascinating animals. From the sluggish and monstrous reptiles of 1842, all the way up to the active and feathered animals of today. "Terrible Lizards" is my own personal tribute to all things palaeontology, paleoart, and paleo-media throughout the past two centuries.
