Dünya Hızlanıyor, Bu Yaz Tarihin En Kısa Günleri Yaşanacak!

9 Temmuz 2025’te Dünya, International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service’in (IERS) atomik saat ölçümlerine göre 24 saatlik dönüşünü yaklaşık 1,3 milisaniye erken tamamladı. Bu, modern kayıtların en kısa günlerinden biri olarak tarihe geçti. Bu minik salınımları biz hissedemesek de teknolojik hayatımızda önemli etkileri olabilir. GPS uyduları, finansal zaman damgaları ve küresel internet protokolleri bu milisaniyelik değişimlere karşı şaşırtıcı derecede hassas. Trend devam ederse 2030’a yaklaşırken insanlık ilk kez “negatif leap second” uygulamasını, yani resmi zamandan bir saniye çıkarmayı tartışmak zorunda kalabilir.
