Hal itu dilakukan Kemenkum dikarenakan adanya dualisme kepengurusan partai PPP.
Dualisme kepemimpinan antara Muhammad Mardiono dan Agus Suparmanto dalam Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) terjadi pada Muktamar X PPP di Ancol, Jakarta, pada 27β28 September 2025.
Muktamar ini seharusnya menjadi ajang konsolidasi, namun justru memunculkan dua klaim ketua umum yang sah.
Dalam forum tersebut, muncul dua kubu yang sama-sama mengklaim telah memilih Ketua Umum secara sah.
