Экранизация «Горничной» собрала кассу своей красотой, жуткими детальками и темой абьюза с женской силой наперевес. Но… Там убрали многое, за что цепляла одноимённая книга: леденящий страх и грязища, жуткий психопатический газлайтинг, героини, которым то сочувствуешь, то бесишься с них. Вместо этого нам просто красиво + простенько и у нас Сидни Суини, хотя в книге всё работало вообще иначе.
Я подробно разобралась, что там вырезали и почему, дополнила своими эмоциями и погрустила, что история потеряла зубы (как и главный герой кек). Внутри спойлеры, без них никак, зато вы точно решите, с чего начинать — с книги или фильма.
