Humillación a la Unión Soviética - La avioneta hippie alemana
En plena Guerra Fría, un alemán de tan solo 18 años decidió hacer algo completamente absurdo: meterse con una avioneta en el espacio aéreo de la Unión Soviética y llegar hasta Moscú. ¿Cómo consiguió atravesar las defensas de una de las mayores potencias militares del planeta sin que lo derribaran?Esta es la increíble historia de **Mathias Rust**, un joven piloto de Alemania Occidental que, en 1987, quiso llevar un mensaje de paz hasta el mismísimo Mijaíl Gorbachov.
Con apenas 50 horas de experiencia de vuelo, Rust se montó en una pequeña avioneta y emprendió una aventura que acabaría dejando en evidencia al ejército soviético.
Por el camino hubo radares militares, cazas interceptores, sistemas de identificación que fallaron, confusiones increíbles y decisiones que pudieron acabar muy mal.
Pero lo más sorprendente no es solamente cómo consiguió llegar tan lejos, sino las consecuencias políticas y militares que provocó su aventura. Y ojito, porque la vida de este supuesto pacifista también acabaría dando unos giros bastante turbios.
Una historia real de la Guerra Fría que parece sacada de una película.
