Kabar itu mencuat saat Bahlil bertemu Prabowo di Hambalang, Bogor, Jawa Barat pada Senin (9/6).
Menanggapi kabar tersebut, Bahlil membantah dimarahi Presiden Prabowo.
Bantahan itu disampaikan Bahlil saat ditemui di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan pada Selasa (10/6).
Dikutip dari Tribunnews.com, Bahlil justru bertanya balik kepada wartawan.
Ia pun berkelakar bahwa wartawan seolah yang paling tahu saja terkait polemik tersebut.
Meski begitu, Bahlil menekankan kabar dirinya dimarahi Prabowo tidak benar.
Sayangnya, Bahlil tidak merinci isi pertemuan di Hambalang itu.
“Kamu kok kayak paling tahu aja,” ujar Bahlil di Kantor Presiden, Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Selasa (10/6/2025).
“Enggak lah (dimarahi Prabowo),” katanya singkat.
Di satu sisi, Bahlil mengatakan pemerintah mencabut izin usaha pertambangan (IUP) nikel untuk empat perusahaan di Kabupaten Raja Ampat.
Menurut Bahlil, terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan pemerintah mencabut empat izin pertambangan tersebut.
Namun Bahlil menegaskan pemerintah tidak mencabut izin tambang milik PT Gag Nikel di Pulau Gag, Raja Ampat, Papua Barat Daya.
Menteri ESDM mengatakan perusahaan itu telah menjalankan kegiatan operasional sesuai dengan dokumen Analisis Mengenai Dampak Lingkungan (Amdal) dan termasuk dalam aset negara strategis.
Sementara Bahlil mengatakan Prabowo memberi perhatian khusus untuk menjadikan dan menjaga Raja Ampat tetap sebagai wisata dunia.
