"Il libro è un modo per far conoscere Domenico prima di quello che gli è accaduto. È una lettera d'amore che ho scritto a lui e anche un modo per far capire il dolore mio, il dolore del papà e il dolore dei fratelli, perché non si vede, ma è giusto che sappiano tutto. Perché tante persone dicono: "Ah, vanno in televisione, sui giornali", però questo è un modo per ottenere giustizia, penso che sia diventato molto mediatico questo caso. Ma il dolore che abbiamo non lo percepisce nessuno, solo chi ci vive veramente. Quindi è giusto anche farlo conoscere. E poi noi stiamo vivendo per i nostri figli, ma anche e soprattutto aspettiamo l'inizio del processo. Sarà difficile, sarà lungo, spero più corto del solito, però sarà molto difficile, però noi viviamo per ottenere giustizia."
