Nach Treffen von Putin und Trump: Reaktionen und Analysen des Ukraine-Gipfels
Nach dem Gipfel mit Kremlchef Wladimir Putin hat US-Präsident Donald Trump den ukrainischen Staatschef Wolodymyr Selenskyj dessen Angaben zufolge nach Washington eingeladen.Selenskyj unterstütze den Vorschlag des US-Präsidenten zu einem Dreier-Treffen mit Putin. Er sprach sich für eine Einbeziehung von europäischen Vertretern vor allem bei der Frage von Sicherheitsgarantien für sein Land aus. Zuvor hatten Selenskyj und Trump den Angaben nach etwa eine Stunde telefoniert. Dem insgesamt mehr als anderthalb Stunden dauernden Gespräch seien später europäische Staats- und Regierungschefs zugeschaltet worden.
Trump und Putin hatten ihr Treffen in Alaska ohne Äußerungen zu einer möglichen Waffenruhe im Krieg gegen die Ukraine beendet, greifbare Ergebnisse wurden nicht bekannt. Trump sprach zwar von Einigungen in wichtigen Punkten, blieb Details aber schuldig. Auch Putin erwähnte Vereinbarungen, die Ausgangspunkt für eine Lösung des Ukraine-Konflikts sein könnten.
