Tempat yang berlokasi di Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kosambi tersebut kemudian digerebek oleh jajaran Polda Jabar yang dipimpin langsung oleh Wakapolda Jabar Brigjen Adi Vivid Gustiadi pada Selasa (17/6) dini hari.
Dari penggerebekan tersebut, polisi mengamankan sebanyak 63 orang, terdiri dari 37 karyawan, 23 pemain judi, dan tiga orang sebagai penanggung jawab.
Tiga orang tersebut yakni SSA, warga Banjarsari, Solo; CW, warga Astanaanyar, Kota Bandung; dan HP, warga Nguter, Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah.
Sebanyak 44 di antaranya kini telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Polisi kemudian mengamankan uang tunai senilai Rp 359,6 juta serta empat rekening yang jumlahnya mencapai Rp 2,7 miliar.
Kapolda Jabar Irjen Rudi Setiawan mengatakan bahwa para pemain memberikan taruhan di angka Rp 100 ribu hingga Rp 10 juta tiap bermain.
Sehingga keuntungan dari permainan judi tersebut ditaksir mencapai Rp 300 juta per hari.
Merespons penggerebekan ini, Wali Kota Bandung Muhammad Farhan dalam keterangan pada Rabu (18/6) mengaku kecolongan.
Menurut Farhan, tempat yang dijadikan sebagai pusat kasino tersebut hanya memiliki izin usaha untuk karaoke, billiard, dan futsal.
Seusai kasus ini terungkap, Pemkot Bandung langsung mencabut izin usaha lokasi bernama New Ballrom Billiard, Karaoke, and Live Music tersebut.
