🔴BREAKING NEWS: Gempa Magnitudi 7,6 SR Guncang Talaud Sulut, BMKG: Berpotensi Tsunami

Berdasarkan data Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG), gempa terjadi pukul 09.43 WITA.
Pusat gempa berada di 7.34 Lintang Utara dan 126.87 Bujur Timur, atau sekitar 371 kilometer timur laut Melonguane, Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud, Sulawesi Utara.
Gempa berpusat di kedalaman 56 kilometer di bawah permukaan laut.
BMKG menyebutkan informasi ini masih bersifat sementara dan dapat berubah seiring pembaruan data.
Guncangan kuat terasa hingga ke wilayah Manado dan sekitarnya, membuat warga berhamburan keluar rumah.
Di kawasan perkantoran Jalan AA Maramis, sejumlah pekerja mengaku merasakan getaran cukup lama.
Melonguane, yang menjadi pusat pemerintahan Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud, diketahui memiliki kepadatan penduduk sekitar 154 jiwa per kilometer persegi.
Hingga kini, belum ada laporan resmi mengenai kerusakan atau korban akibat gempa tersebut.
BMKG terus memantau perkembangan dan memastikan tidak ada potensi tsunami dari gempa besar ini.
Warga diimbau tetap tenang namun waspada terhadap kemungkinan gempa susulan, serta tidak mempercayai berita yang tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan.
