Diceva questo, pensava quello. Sono bastati pochi giorni, forse questione di ore, affinché anche sull'omicidio di Charlie Kirk si formasse la biforcazione della società. Se da una parte c'è stata la ferma condanna, dall'altra è partito il tam tam dell'analisi sulle idee dello scomparso attivista conservatore. Con un fine dialettico non meglio precisato, molti utenti, giornalisti e politici hanno messo al vaglio i pensieri del 31enne, condannandoli. "Era razzista", "era misogino", "spargeva odio". Da qui il detto: "Chi semina vento, raccoglie tempesta", ripetuto a iosa. Ciò che però manca all'accusa ideologica è quasi sempre la fonte. "Diceva di lapidare gli omosessuali!": questa la più clamorosa. Ci è cascato pure lo scrittore Stephen King. Si è dovuto scusare sui social perché altro non era che una fake news diventata assioma, una verità di per sé. E' anche la più classica delle fallacie argomentative, l'appello all'evidenza: un fatto diventa vero solo perché tutti lo dicono. Ma nell'era dei social, grazie ai video, diventa più facile verificare ciò che si afferma.
