O antigomobilista Gustavo Xavier, ou Gustavo Brasil como é conhecido no meio, comprou um raríssimo Ford Corcel Hatch SR 1981. Foram anos de busca até encontrar o exemplar que, hoje, acredita ser único.Neste vídeo, você vai conhecer a história do raro e curioso Corcel Hatch SR, uma criação da SR Veículos Especiais — empresa fundada em 1979 por Eduardo de Souza Ramos, herdeiro da tradicional rede de concessionárias Ford. O modelo foi lançado em 1980 e marcou a estreia da SR na produção de carros completos, após anos atuando com kits de personalização. O design ficou por conta do lendário Anísio Campos, responsável por ícones como o Puma GT e o Carcará.
Curiosamente, o carro-base do projeto não foi o Corcel sedã, mas sim a Belina, por conta do tanque de combustível maior. Um capítulo especial da indústria automotiva brasileira que você precisa conhecer!
