Buruh dan mahasiswa hingga berbagai kalangan melakukan aksi demonstrasi di DPR menyoroti tunjangan DPR yang akhir-akhir ini ramai diperbincangkan.Namun pada tanggal 29 Agustus 2025, kemarahan publik berbalik arah tertuju pada Polri usai tragedi tewasnya pengemudi ojek online, Affan Kurniawan, yang tertabrak kendaraan taktis Brimob di Pejompongan, Jakarta Pusat.
Jurnalis KompasTV, Dipo Nurbahagia menelusuri tuntutan massa aksi pada 29 Agustus 2025 di Mako Brimob di Kwitang dan Polda Metro Jaya di Senayan.
Dipo melihat langsung suasana dan tuntutan massa di kedua lokasi tersebut. Dalam proses peliputannya, Dipo juga sempat tertembak gas air mata saat kondisi aksi di Mako Brimob, Kwitang mulai tidak kondusif.
Tidak hanya mendatangi Mako Brimob dan Polda Metro Jaya, Dipo juga mendatangi makam Affan Kurniawan di TPU Karet Bivak, serta ikut meliput saat ketua DPR RI, Puan Maharani berkunjung ke rumah Affan Kurniawan.
