"Man muss schon ein wenig verrückt sein, um das hier zu machen", sagt Adrian Winheim. Der 40-Jährige hat seinem verstorbenen Vater Hubert versprochen, sein geliebtes Kult-Karussell Calypso zu übernehmen. 1987 hatte sein Vater Hubert das Fahrgeschäft gekauft, im selben Jahr kam Adrian zur Welt.Doch jetzt steht Adrian vor einer Bewährungsprobe: Er muss das Calypso zum ersten Mal ganz alleine aufbauen. Nicht am Stammplatz am Münchner Oktoberfest, sondern beim 200. Jubiläum des Nürnberger Herbstvolksfests. Nicht alle glauben an ihn. Doch Adrian will sein Versprechen halten und beweisen, dass er es kann. Der Oldtimer aus den 1950er Jahren, den es nur noch zwei Mal auf der ganzen Welt gibt, soll sich wieder drehen. Dafür arbeitet Adrian bis zur Erschöpfung. Doch reicht das?
