Netanyahu said that the operation would continue as long as necessary to neutralise the Iranian threat to Israel's security. Iranian state media reported extensive damage in Tehran, with footage showing explosions and burning buildings. Tehran confirmed the deaths of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Chief Salami and two top nuclear scientists.
