Polres Aceh Singkil telah berhasil menangkap pelaku berinisial ES (34) yang sebelumnya sempat kabur.
Proses penangkapan tersangka berlangsung dramatis, karena sempat berupaya kabur dan melawan petugas.
Polres Aceh Singkil berhasil meringkus ES di rumah orang tuanya di Desa Sumber Mukti, Kecamatan Kota Baharu, Jumat (6/6/2025) sekitar pukul 06.30 WIB.
Tim gabungan Polres Aceh Singkil, yang terdiri diri Unit Opsnal Sat Reskrim, Sat Intelkam Serta Polsek Kota Baharu menangkap pelaku setelah melewati proses pelacakan.
Tim gabungan tersebut melakukan pengepungan, hingga akhirnya tersangka berhasil diringkus.
Sebenarnya pelaku sempat berupaya kabur, namun Polres Aceh Singkil sudah mengepungnya.
ES sempat melawan saat hendak ditangkap, namun Polres Aceh Singkil dengan sigap membekuknya.
Kapolres Aceh Singkil, AKBP Joko Triyono, mengonfirmasi penangkapan tersangka ES yang sudah digelandang ke Mapolres Aceh Singkil.
Sebelumnya Tim Inafis Satreskrim Polres Aceh Singkil, telah melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), kasus pembunuhan tersebut, Selasa (3/6/2025).
Polisi juga melakukan pemeriksaan luar terhadap korban berinisial NA (31) yang diketahui merupakan penduduk Sidorejo, Kecamatan Gunung Meriah, Kabupaten Aceh Singkil.
Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan yang dilakukan Tim Inafis bersama dokter RSUD Aceh Singkil, di tubuh korban ditemukan 8 luka tusuk di dada dan perut serta 3 luka lebam.
