BMKG Prediksi Hujan Deras Guyur Jakarta Hingga Jumat

BMKG memprediksi hujan dengan intensitas tinggi berpotensi mengguyur wilayah DKI Jakarta dan sekitarnya hingga Jumat 12 Juli mendatang.

Prakirawan cuaca BMKG, Muhammad Hakiki, Senin sore mengungkapkan meski sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia termasuk Jakarta masih musim kemarau hujan masih berpotensi mengguyur wilayah tersebut.

Hal tersebut disebabkan adanya fenomena Madden Julian Ocealation (MJO) yang menyebabkan pergerakan kumpulan awan awan hujan serta gelombang atmosfer Rossby Equatorial dan Kelvin yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan curah hujan.

Selain Jakarta dan sekitarnya, wilayah lain yang berpotensi diguyur hujan pada musim kemarau ini yakni wilayah Indonesia bagian timur seperti Pulau Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan dan Jawa serta sebagian wilayah di Indonesia lain.

Masyarakat diimbau untuk mewaspadai potensi bencana hidrometeorologi seperti banjir hingga tanah longsor.
