После того, как сестра Полины увела у неё жениха, девушка разорвала отношения с родными, да и мужчин к себе больше не подпускала. Она сделала прекрасную карьеру адвоката, у неё роскошная квартира, дорогая одежда. Но всё это не заменяет счастья... Однажды случается беда – мама звонит Полине в слезах: пропала сестра Арина, полиция отказывается искать. Чертыхнувшись, Полина едет в город своего детства – взбодрить тамошнее УВД.
